26th Annual Old Oaken Bucket Luncheon
Purdue University Alumni, fans, athletic administrators, former players and coaches (and those from that other school) meet for a friendly and spirited luncheon to celebrate the historic Old Oaken Bucket college football game and raise money for the Indy Sports Foundation’s Central Indiana Helmet Fund to benefit youth football organizations in central Indiana. A portion of the proceeds also goes to the Purdue and IU scholarship funds.
2016 Crossroads Classic
Held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, which is right in the heart of basketball country, the annual Crossroads Classic brings together some of the very best basketball players in the country, making for some amazing competition as top-tier programs hit the hardwood. With Purdue, Notre Dame, Butler and Indiana all coming together to play in a unique four-team event, the Crossroads Classic is sure to give you plenty to cheer about if you love college hoops, from rim-rocking jams and spectacular blocked shots to smooth cross-overs that will have you jumping out of your seat in no time. This is a great basketball event that has been gaining momentum in recent seasons, making it always a good idea to head out and join in the highlight-reel excitement.
